Edig Started lawsuits 10 years ago with DM?

Actually just over 5 years now but yes it does seem like 10.

Laches defense as I understand could be used to limit the amount of past damages we can recover assuming we win, but I don't think it would keep Handal from going forward with the case.

Successfully suing Apple will be an amazingly long and drawn out uphill climb. That's true for anyone, not just EDIG/Handal... and we've only just begun. I don't expect them to ever settle.

Regardless, if we can score a Markman hearing by next March that will be a good thing. Hopefully the judge will take a lot less than 6 months to rule this time around.
