It seems Apple is not partnering or working with EDIG as there would be no need to settle now and ensure they get "With Predjudice". I think they found out they missed the boat with EDIG and somehow was leaked and or communicated last few weeks.

Some good things maybe right around the corner for Edig and Apple needed closure now.
