Have you ever been on a long road trip with the kid in the back seat saying, "are we there yet? When will we get there? This is taking too long, I'm tired and want to get there now."

Well, Fred will never give us a timeline, nor even predict a timeline.

On many cross-country road trips, I have been that kid in the back seat asking such questions. My parents never made any exact time predications either.

They did however at least tell me what state we were in and I could deduce that real progress was being made.

And I could be certain that they weren't simply driving in circles. They had a plan for how to get where we were going... and we always got there. I never had to spend 15 years in the back seat and then be left to wonder if it could still be another 5 or 10 years.
