When the IP monetization began in 2008, as in when the TX 7 were filed, at the 08 & 09 SHM's the process in very general terms was touched on, meaning the negotiation process included the "wishes" of mgmt/BOD.

Ultimately with DM and now Handal, since mgmt seeks their guidence, the most convincing set of parameters comes to the surface and a deal is cut.

Obviously, neither side gets what they want IMO.

There's nothing simple about any of it...
