Eagan, McAllister Associates, Inc. (EMA) has opened three new offices and made two acquisitions
Lexington Park, MD—Continuing to expand its business operations, Eagan, McAllister Associates, Inc. (EMA) has opened three new offices and made two acquisitions. The new offices are in:
San Diego, CA. This unit will expand EMA’s support of the Naval Space and Warfare Command, Naval In-Service Engineering East, and the Naval Command, Control and Surveillance Center. It also will support a regional operation for EMA’s subsidiary, ComTronics Inc., to sell electronic equipment and software to the Navy and to the digital and wireless communication industry. Will Blakeley will direct the office, assisted by operations manager Ed Chomas.
Sierra Vista, AZ, site of the U.S. Army’s Fort Huachuca. The Fort houses the Army’s Intelligence School, Electronic Proving Ground, Signal Command, and other units that may require engineering and technical services support. Regional Director Pete Smith also will oversee EMA’s new Nighthawk subsidiary (see below).
Quantico, VA, site of a large Marine Corps base that includes the Marine Corps Systems Command, university, training academy, officer infantry school, advanced communications, public works, and other operations. Ed Bailey is office manager.
The new subsidiaries are:
Nighthawk Systems Inc. in Tucson, AZ. Nighthawk manufactures and refurbishes video surveillance systems for Government investigative and local law enforcement agencies.
Digital Equipment Corporation’s Government Services Division in Lexington Park, MD. Headed by John McCurry, this group develops hardware and software for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft interface.
EMA provides technical services and products to the U.S. Navy, other Dept. of Defense agencies, the Dept. of Justice, the General Services Administration, industry, and international clients. Only 13 years old, the firm now has more than 500 employees working at sites all over the U.S. Its annual sales have grown to $41 million.
