British Airways, Monday this week, introduced the Boeing 777 aircraft for its morning flights out of Lagos this winter.

British Airways is the first airline to take delivery of long-range equipment.

The Boeing 777 is the latest, quietest and most modern aircraft type in the British Airways’ fleet. The cabin of the 777 offers superb passenger comfort as it offers more space. Executive Club members will be pleased to know it comes configured with the British Airways flagship product, the very exclusive FIRST cabin. The in-flight entertainment features individual television screens for each seat in every cabin, with personal video players for those in FIRST, and a choice of up to eighteen channels for those seated in the Club World cabin, and 12 in World Traveller.

British Airways operates three morning flights to London out of Lagos on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, departing at 8:15am and arriving London at 1:35pm. The return flights on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, depart London at 9:30 pm and arrives Lagos at 4:55am the following day.

From Abuja, the airline operates daily morning flights with Boeing 777 departing at 9:05 am and arriving London by 2:30 pm same day, while the London – Abuja flight, departs London at 10:15pm and arrive Abuja at 5:25 am the following day.

The airline will continue to operate its daily night flights departing Lagos at 11:45 pm and arriving London at 5:05 am the following day, while the London – Lagos flights departs at 12:20 pm and arrives Lagos 7:45 pm of the day.
