No matter whether they knew it or not its theft. Intel was a partner and what they did was have a NDA with edig aand then decided to steal the information. Even so. all companies need to investigate whether what they now install in their product belongs to someone else. Intel had a leg up in that they had this B.S. partnership with edig and this NDA that allowed them to steal what ever it needed from EDIG. Whethet this is good news or not will only prove to be if edig can get real money that will effect the bottom line for all of us.
