"Flash Memory is growing into becoming a standard RAM replacement and will we know EDIG is involved somewhere?"

There will be no complete RAM replacement....there will be an emulation, as if, RAM is being replaced.. The CACHE(item b..SRAM) of the 108 patent along with patented OS methods together create this emulation.....and this emulation is only hindered by the write/read speed of the flash. As those physical considerations improved ....and they did for good reason ....the emulation gets better. That is why the write speeds of the flash improved by companies such as Intel.....

In other words, the emulation is patented by e.Digital through hardware(SRAM) and software methods....The typical RAM processes are what are being eliminated....and they are adopting new details such as e.Digitals.

What e.Digitals problem now hinges on is the CACHE(SRAM) use....and the appeal of 774 where the judge in CO was convinced by defendants that e.Digital utilizes no RAM in its process. Yet it is spelled out in 108 which is part of the appeal process and was denied by the SC judge CE ruling as a support consideration for the relitigation of 774.

If the appeals court allows the re-litigation of 774...it's game over for defendants.
