Way back when, we had a couple of lawyers on this board, one of which R.I.P, they informed us an infringement suit could be filed up to 6 years past the expiration date of a patent....don't ask me the mechanics on how this is done, what is needed to make this happen etc...IDK?

Certainly the suits in progress do not have to worry about it.

Anyone else remember this angle?
