I believe maycom manufactured the MXP for us. That would have been in 2001. I`m going from memory here but I think that was announced as one of the several announcements made at the CES in 2000. Norbert Delbercio was then the chief engineer. It was Atul that replaced him. Not sure about the timing but the next year I think.

As far as my comment about Will. ``we developed our relationship with Will thru Northrup Grumman.`` On the day of the announcement, I asked Putnam how we came to find Will? He responded that we were familiar with him from our dealings with him at Northrup Grumman. I took that to mean that we have some kind of existing working relationship with them or had one at one time. Upon reflection I could have been mislead in that Robert also has business dealings with ATCO and the Northrup Grumman relationship could have been thru them but I suspect that was not the case. No way of knowing for certain. I do know that any dealings with the milatary has to go thru a middleman such as Northrup Grumman. I think there`s a pretty good chance that the placement of Will as President has larger implications than just a change in leadership.

From the PR announcing Will Blakely.

“I see many business opportunities and tremendous potential for e.Digital and versions of its proprietary DVAP for commercial and military applications,” said Blakeley. “I am committed to accelerating revenue and business expansion by further partnering with companies seeking to aggressively brand, market, and sell or rent closed system video products utilizing e.Digital’s latest generation DVAP.”

His first sentence specifically states military applications. Pretty good chance thats why he`s at the helm starting Monday.
