Emit, buddy, apparently you missed (passed on? LOL) my earlier post hitting on this. ATCO sells its LRAD for military applications directly to the Gov`t, not through a ``middle-man`` defense contractor. At least that`s what I surmise from doing a little research. If you go to the ATCO site, and then to their ``how do I get one`` (availability or something) page for military applications, it refers you directly to Gov`t reps (probably DLA) and not to a contractor. Still possible they go through someone else, just not too likely IMO (because contractor sales of such items suffer equal scrutiny as if such items were sold by the Gov`t). Hence, the RP>N-G>Will connection is equally unlikely.
Not that any of this matters that much; though I did like the idea of EDIG management LISTENING to recommendations of their engineers - that`s a more desireable synergy IMO, and should make for happy engineers (keep those boys and girls HAPPY!).
