Let me speculate ?? ...........

1) Sandisk infringes on e.Digital's patents

2) then Sandisk sells a patent portfolio which includes e.Digitals infringed patents to Longitude Flash memory Systems in Luxembourg.

3) then Apple infringes the Longitude patents and induces or contributes to infringement by selling products using flash memory in the United States

4) then in December of 2013, a California judge dismisses a suit on three patents between e.Digital and Apple because the parties reached a settlement where the terms have not been disclosed.

Is Longitude sueing Sandisk for selling infringed patents to them??

And we wonder why this has taken so long!!!
