Here's my question. Did Dropcam inadvertently infringe upon the Nunchi patent or did they know about the technology and then used it, brazenly? If they had some similar form of the technology without knowledge of Nunchi, then it would seem that Nunchi isn't as unique as we've been led to believe. Did they just stumble into the lawsuit?
If they knew the workings of Nunchi, how did they come by it? Did EDIG, or one of EDIG's agents, approach Dropcam with a mind towards licensing, were given no for an answer, then decided to used the tech anyway without paying for it?
So far, we haven't had an explanation for how all of this happen. I sure would like to know. Fred could tell us but.......:>):>):>)
