You are hot on the trail with this one!!!! I read the following about what the averages are and thus what GoPro might have to pay ( on average ) as a percentage of revenue!!! Now looking at it from a different perspective... OUR PERSPECTIVE.... :):):).....

Take the number of infringers and multiply by their revenue averages and WOW... not that we are for sure going to get those kinds of numbers and some of the money paid goes for legal and other expenses but... you can get the idea. If GoPro is a short by this formula then the opposite can be true for eDigital... in other words eDigital is a buy!!

We see that companies in a similar situation as GPRO have paid, on average, 16.69% of topline on royalties/infringement payments. Eliminate the major companies (Microsoft, Intel, SAP) and re-examine only the companies with sub-$10 billion revenues (as GPRO is and will continue to be), and we see that the average royalties/infringement payment surpasses 31% of revenues.
