As I see it , everyone stands to gain substantially if the share price increases , well beyond salaries , retainers etc. We all wonder why it just cannot be and that the company's income remains stuck in the mud. We seem to be doing all the right things and still we are mired. It is the edig lament.

Eventually the hard work will pay off , there will be a positive surprise, we will forget our grumbling days and give thanks that they are over.
