e.DIGITAL FILES PATENT INFRINGEMENT LAWSUITS AGAINST HP, HAGIWARA, KINGFAST, MEMORIGHT, FMJ, RUNCORE AND OTHERS

(SAN DIEGO, CA, – February 18, 2015) – e.Digital Corporation (OTCQB: EDIG), a long standing source of innovation and future-defining patented technologies, today announced that it has filed several new patent infringement lawsuits, asserting the Company’s US Patent No. 5,839,108 (“the ’108 patent”). The ’108 patent is an important part of e.Digital’s Flash-R™ patent portfolio and involves a method of memory management for non-volatile memory, such as flash memory.

The Company, along with its law firm, Handal & Associates, filed the new lawsuits following entry of a Claim Construction Order in previous ‘108 cases targeting entities believed to infringe e.Digital’s ’108 patent.

Among the list of new defendants are Hewlett-Packard Company, Hagiwara Sys-Com US CO., LTD., Shenzhen New Kingfast Storage Technology Co., Ltd., MemoRight Corporation, FMJ Storage Inc., RunCore Innovation Technology Co., RunCore USA Corp., Foremay Inc., SMART Modular Technologies, Inc., Microsemi Corporation, and Logic Supply Inc., dba Emphase. The complaints were filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
