It depends completely on what Handal does next. Will they use this decision to apply maximum leverage against Micron?
It makes sense that the more money Handal asks for, the more likely we should be to go to trial since Micron is obviously less likely to settle as the amount goes higher.
So the reverse would be that the sooner Micron settles, the less the settlement amount is likely to be.
As shareholders we should want this to go all the way through discovery and to trial, although I might not be opposed to a settlement 'on the courtroom steps' if it was for a very significant and public amount.
