In other words, the FAT (file allocation table) is an address "data structure" for OS system data where the addresses point to the link lists of user data residing in physical memory ....

Now equate the phrase "data structure" an interactive OS specific file with structured signifiance... to the phrase "file system"... while keeping in mind, that the link lists have nothing to do with the allocation table...other than being addressed on it.

Would you agree that the link list user data residing on physical memory is not a data structure?

If you come to that conclusion, would you consider e.Digitals method in orgnizing user data with link lists on physical memory a data structure, or not a data structure?
