on this apparently unappealing subject (that would be EDIG and what to expect near term IMO - kinda the purpose of this board maybe?) that I did not emphasize at all in my post to which this replies: Progress. Seemingly slow to be sure (especially to - rightfully - overanxious shareholders), but it has been happening for quite some time. Much lower burn rate, attempts with new blood at the top (hey, at least it`s doing ``something``), adjustments to business plan (some based on a learning curve, some on the ``environment``, and some reactionary to outside forces directly having an influence on our path, i.e., Wood). They don`t appear to be going backwords, but are forging ahead, and standing their ground in what I consider a smart business fashion (when the basis of your business is your IP, you must hold firm). Again I say it, there is progress.

The new Mede/E7 (or hopefully better branded names) is apparently coming along, and venues are being pursued that could form a multi-niche market. Thinking it through, with acknowledged ignorance of ``all there is to know``, this appears to me to be their best business bet. Actually an easy conclusion to reach - they`ve tried several other avenues, some with ``construction zone`` signs and even detours, only to see a ``dead end`` sign pop up (sometimes out of the blue). This Mede approach may be the highway to rewards if they can get it done and get it out there enough to create some critical mass before a ``merging traffic`` (competition) sign appears.

Progress. If you can`t acknowledge this (and I don`t think I`ve EVER said this before), you should IMO bail. I know, a pretty simple conclusion to reach.

I was compelled to give this fact its proper emphasis, as well as to report my utter dismay that I only received one reply to my prior post in the regard, now some 24 hours old. Lots of other posts, but....

Perhaps my posts are just too hard to comprehend (I know I have a rather complex writing style, and am very long-winded). But I thought I was going to bring back some meaningful discussion about the EDIG of today and tomorrow. Wrong.

And now to complicate this post further, one more thought about the Atul departure and replacement: Does anyone else have a feeling/impression that just maybe the fine EDIG engineers had had enough of Atul and were happy with an opportunity to bring in someone else to lead them? And someone of their choosing (to a degree)? I get a vague impression that there may have been a ``the King is dead, Long live the King`` type thing happening - the last guy was just okay, he`s gone, happy to have the new guy. Another thing (if any merit) suggesting PROGRESS>

But I KNOW nuttin`!
