I DON'T KNOW IF EITHER OF YOU HAS BEEN TO THESE EXPO'S. THEY ARE HUGE....AND I MEAN HUGE....I USUALLY PLAN ON SPENDING AT LEAST 3 DAYS AT ONE AND I AM TELLING YOU THE GOD'S HONEST TRUTH, I DON'T SEE 1/2 OF WHAT IS THERE AND THERE IS SO MUCH YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND 1/2 OF THAT.....
HAVING A BOOTH IS GREAT, FACE TIME AND ALL THAT, BUT IT IS A DEFENSIVE, WAITING GAME (STANDING IN THE AISLE AROUND THE BOOTH) NOT A PROACTIVE MEANS OF DOING BUSINESS... YOU WAIT FOR SOMEONE WHO MIGHT HAVE INTEREST OR NEED FOR YOU PRODUCT WANDERING BY AND TAKING NOTE OF WHAT YOU HAVE. YOU THEN GET INTO A CONVERSATION AND SOME IDIOT WALKS BY AND SAYS "HEY MAN I COULD REALLY USE THAT, HOW MUCH DOES IT COST??"
THERE GOES THE SUBSTANTIVE, PERHAPS USEFUL BUSINESS WISE CONVERSATION. PLUS THE CENTERS ARE SO BIG THAT THOSE THAT MIGHT HAVE USE FOR WHAT YOU ARE SELLING NEVER EVEN KNOW YOU ARE THERE BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO MAN THEIR BOOTH'S AND ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CONVENTION CENTER AND NEVER GET TO YOUR AISLE.
I'M TELLING YOU IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER WATCHING EDIG GUYS SEEKING OUT (BEING PROACTIVE) POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS, GOING TO THEM, GETTING MEETINGS SET UP OUTSIDE THE CENTER ACTIVITIES THEN BEING INTERRUPTED EVERY 5 SECONDS BY A LARGE, BUXOM, LADY WITH A SNO-CONE STUCK IN HER FACE.
BESIDES, AT THE TIME AND PERHAPS NOW, THE EXPENSE IS TREMENDOUS AND EDIG COULD HARDLY AFFORT IT THEN......OFF SITE MUCH BETTER USE OF FUNDS...
