The person I knew said, "Never fall in love with a stock."

He would also sell, routinely (per his broker), when a stock would go up 30%, I think was the number. This was right at the internet craziness. Dart board picks to double, triple and split multiple times.

So, he was left shaking his head, and making the 30%, less commisions and taxes owed.

He had heard about my EDIG investment and congratulated me on the day it hit 7 dollars. I had never said anything about it. I had shared info with someone in my Dept and he was blabbing. I remember I was more concerned about the Short Term Capital Gains and didn't want to pay the taxes. Never have sold a single share.
