Was Lanier in the voice recorder space?
The person I had mentioned OT, was an ER doc who would sit and use the dictation machines. VTT, eventually.
The medical records department, transcriptionists (if that's a word) all lost their jobs a few years later. I still remember them trying to get hospital staff(mainly MD's) to back them in keeping their jobs.
Too bad they used hospital letterhead to get the word out.
