"This ship will gain legs in time just not today."

Ships do not gain legs... it is the riders of ships who gain their 'sea legs'.

Oh how I do love analogies though... and you've set up a perfect one.

We the EDIG shareholders have been riding the EDIG ship for 15+ years now and have most definitely all gotten our 'sea legs'. We're all used to the way the ship rocks back and forth during this very long voyage.

Along the way we have had a few different captains and we've always trusted in his ability to steer our ship to port. Thing is, we've been on this particular course for many years now under the same captain... and we're finally starting to realize that we could have gone around the world several times over by now - yet we are still out at sea with no port in sight.

It's not that we don't have our 'sea legs'... and it's not that we the riders are a mutinous bunch. But the captain has demonstrated very clearly that he doesn't know how to steer the ship and that if we are ever to reach port, one of us will have to take over.

And of course if anyone doesn't like where the ship is going, they can simply jump overboard (sell their shares). For those of us still left on board this EDIG ship... that's no answer. Certainly not at 4 cents.

Maybe there is nothing left to do but complain... and that does no real good.

OTOH, I really think that if apologizing for the captain, his decisions, and lack of ability to steer and to anticipate danger... if that's still going to be allowed... well then - complaining should be allowed too. Fair is fair.
