I have never understood why EDIG has not partnered with one of the big companies. There was Intel and perhaps Samsung or even Apple, but all of those were less than formal and public. Sometimes I think the best or most profitable strategy would be EDIG partnering with just one big company who would have the weight to defend the patents. That leads me to think and wonder about the sale of the company or at least a merger.

I find it hard to believe that Fred at age 70 ( time when patents are validated) is going to be running EDIG like he's Steve Jobs at age 30.
