Since Plank usually does not choose to explain, here is my interpretation. The IPR process not only validates the patents today for Edig's purposes of signing licenses, it validates them for ever more and IF a whale was considering buying Edig in its entirety they can buy the company without the dark cloud and expense of future litigation regarding the patents. This was never done with the flash patents, thus the dribs and drabs of settlement money until they patents eventually expired. With Nunchi(Micro Signet?), patents that have many years to run, this will make them or break them. It probably means another 1 1/2 years or so BUT at the end we should either have something that approaches the pot of gold that many have been eyeing OR we will crash and burn and all be put out of our misery once and for all. Just 12 to 18 more months. IMO.
