The non-binding issues considered of the IPR in blending into the civil procedure...throw a wrench in the mix...It may end and settle with the stay being denied.

But then, the judge set his agenda behind... in close relation, to the conclusion of the PTAB making its final decisions. With that, why would he allow the stay?

Everything seems to be called close to the line.

IMO, if the stay is denied and Purcells IPR response has some meat in it that petitioner/defendant can relate to, as real arguable considerations...the case will settle...perhaps with licensing.
