MOS being ``a world standard``

Seems to me there is a lot of darkness on this board about the value of the EDig`s MOS. ``Not needed anymore`` ``Triad will do the same thing as MOS`` etc....

It is my understanding that NO ONE has ever said that other, competing, entities cannot devise a product that does the same thing as MOS. The MOS is unique because of the way it does what it does, the speed in which it operates, the physical size of what it is and the content security it provides.

Not being a ``techie`` if I had to choose a product that did all that and was the size of a pencil eraser ???? (not at all certain of the size but you know what I mean) as opposed to the same product that was much larger and perhaps did not have as good as content security in it, which one would I choose??

Maybe all wet here but this is my understanding of the MOS. How wrong am I??
