"Pursuant to both 37 C.F.R. 42.10 and the Board’s authorization to file a request to withdraw during a telephone conference on April 1, 2016, Robert E. Purcell and Jerry Kearns, both of The Law Office of Robert E. Purcell, PLLC, hereby move the Board to authorize their withdrawal as counsel for Patent Owner in the instant IPR proceeding.

As grounds for this motion, movants state as follows. Good cause exists for the Board to authorize the withdrawal of counsel. No filings are imminently due in this IPR. Mary Fales has indicated Patent Owner desires that she assume the role as lead counsel for Patent Owner. Ms. Fales is an experienced registered patent attorney and has filed a Power of Attorney and other papers sufficient for her to serve in that role. Ms. Fales mentioned in the telephone conference that Mr. Handal will serve as back-up counsel for Patent Owner. Finally, Patent Owner does not anticipate that this substitution of counsel will result in the need for any extensions of time or otherwise will adversely affect judicial economy. Moreover, Petitioner has indicated that it does not oppose this motion."
