"A lobbying group with members including Amazon, Cisco and Google " "United for Patent Reform"
Always the same ....
" will boost the financial incentive for patent trolls"
Always the same
The big gun companies always seem to act in unison. Where each seem to oblige the other in not legally adopting technologies that could put on the challenge among them....and not trolls.
Samsung could adopt e.Digital technologies legally
Apple could adopt e.Digital technologies legally
Google could adopt e.Digital technologies legally
MSFT could adopt e.Digital technologies legally
AT& T could adopt e.Digital technologies legally
GE..could adopt e.Digital technologies legally
Intel came close to adopting e.Digital technologies legally...and backed off. Why?
ETC...
They are all entering a new realm of data collection, analytics, shared processing....yet no company of substance steps up to the plate to adopt / own a specific issue.
They collectively infringe and dilute the technology over time....where the amount of time to enforce upon infringement is near the life of a patent.
IMVHO, all the legislation of law is devised to kill copious amounts of time regarding patents where the big gun companies function on economy of scale only.
Is there any technical competition, at all, between these big guns?
They all seem, for the most part, to have a broad mutual agreement to ignore technical advancement(infringe it) not born of their own respective R&D departments.
