sman...One of many critiques regarding Williams....
IMO this is the most damning evidence of Williams...
"Mr. Williams’ conclusion that theme “attributes have to be unique” is therefore simply wrong.
When pressed about this issue during cross-examination, he finally admitted that his assumptions were inaccurate. (Ex. 2013 at 199:21-200:13).
Ultimately, Williams admitted that a POSA reading Robarts would understand that Robarts teaches that a set of attributes could result in the selection of multiple themes. (Id. at 201:7-11.)
It is clear that Mr. Williams does not understand the fundamental teachings of the Robarts prior art. Accordingly, his testimony should, at minimum, be accorded little to no weight."
He claims to be an authority on Robarts...yet he had to be re-taught the principles of the specifications.
