I asked this guy, what will happen to all the meter readers. He said I was one of them, we got a promotion to install these gadgets, we all kept our jobs. After we are done with this, we go into maintenance training and transition into that dept.

Gas stations use to come out and pump for your gas, check the oil, wash the windows and air tires....lol...I used to do it.
