So Plank's thoughts/opinions are:

e.Digital would not have agreed to a no PR situation at this point with Google, Dropcam and Nest unless it was for a very good reason. Last September's web sh meeting....something like...(per Handal) "we're really digging in on this one..."...and the nunchi patents are "evergreen" for like 15 years...(which is really more in Plank's opinion as you can go back to collect 6 years, and there are continuing the continuations....)...anyway...

possibly, the announcement will come when some marker has been reached, ideas as:

** important additional nunchi patent pending is issued,

** co-developed product goes on sale

** "they" reach an agreement with a third party vendor...

** "they" have a large order for a product from vendor

** Product passes some governmental test or requirement

Plank is not saying that e.Digital is co-developing a product with Google, Nest and Dropcam. In fact nothing to this affect has been announced. However does Plank think that this could be the case, yes. Does Plank think that other products could be being developed with other defendants/parties, yes. Read the website....it is the "mission" of the co.

anyway, you get the idea..

also, last Sept.... Falk said something to the effect:

"...once we can start to announce partners we will get the attention we deserve...."

also seems to me non-litigation licenses shouldn't be that far away
