Message: Still wondering

Regarding the large difference in revenue for fiscal yrs 2015 and 2015. I'm still having trouble reconciling it.I went back to that W@all  St article to see if it helped. Here's a quote:

"Licensing fee revenues from 15 companies earned eDigital $693,500 for fiscal year 2016. The figure, however, is down from $2.1 million in fiscal year 2015, when eDigital signed 29 new patent license agreements"

That makes sense in that there were significantly more license agreements in 2015. On a ratio basis it seems like the 2015 agreements were on average better than 2016's. BTW did the company ever tell us the number of agreements there were in each of those years? .If they did, I missed it. I thought we'd see an increase in revenue each period as new companies came into the fold. Since that doesn't appear to be happening, it could be that many, if not most, of the licenses were one time shots and do not include royalties. I can't be sure of that until we're further into this adventure. I have to believe that royalties will eventually be the vehicle for this company's success.

I'm not sure I'm seeing this correctly. I'd welcome some other thoughts on this. Fire away.:>):>)
