Sometimes I wonder if we're too smug about these stipulations that mutually agree to a dismissal w/ prejudice. We assume they came about because of a settlement. Occasionally we're told by the court that there has been one, but there might have been some that were dismissed because there never was a case to begin with. Any thoughts?

BTW, "Sometimes I Wonder", are the beginning words of a classic song, written by Hoagy Carmichael in 1927. Anyone here old enough to remember the name of the tune? Rumor has it that Hoagy is still holding his stock in EDIG. :>):>)
