You are absolutely right. In fact it is against the rules of conduct.
I have emails from RP stating that the answer to my questions have not been made public, therefore he could not provide any definitive answer.
Yet we get posts on this board from individuals who provide information, sometimes implied that it was discussed in general, that has not been made public.
Looking back we can think about all of the so called private inputs from the management to some preferred contacts and see that maybe one of them came true.
I myself have been guilty by perhaps concluding something that I thought I heard or misunderstood the implication in an e-mail.
I agree with you, things would be more realistic without personal speculation derived from an e-mail or a phone conversation.
