I read this too and was scratching my head.  But then I realized that Barclay is talking about Delaware here.  I would think that the California Corporation must have had a bank account.  At least I would hope so.  Delaware just has the patents.

Besides Fred needed a bank account to purchase the carrots for us and a storage area to store them all!!!
