Alaska Air doesn`t offer VOD (digEplayers) on flights of duration 2 hours or less yet.

Interesting to see JetStar has found the 1.5 hour flight time to work for them....and the next wave starts March 28th.

Was this part of the $1.2 million order or a new development? Should get some idea after we get the business update.

``Jetstar said all their A320 services on flights of at least 1 hour 30 minutes provide our customers with the choice to “watch what they want, when they want” through video on demand.

The low cost carrier said from March 28 when it enters the Perth market it will continue to offer the choice of inflight video on demand.

Jetstar’s video on demand entertainment units feature popular and latest release movies, TV shows, video and audio tracks and can be rented on their direct Perth flights for $10 from 28 March 2006.
