A seven year education in penny stocks

I`ve been invested in edig for 7 years, held all shares thru the January 2000 run-up to 22.75 (close on 1/24)and all the way down increasing my holdings to pertinere 135,000. At it`s heighth I stood to pocket $160,000 after taxes. Friday I sold off the last of my holdings after dropping $70,000 on the stock. I count my blessings as I fortunately have been following PTSC over these years and invested all of my edig monies in the stock at .13. I am currently 5 grand shy of recouping my edig losses and would not be suprised if I reach the $160,000 mark again. I never would have invested in PTSC in not for edig. I have lurked for hundreds of hours over the past seven years with possibly a half-dozen worthless posts. Thanks to all for the insight and entertainment. Overall I would have to say that I was mislead by many of the companies public statements. In the end you have to wonder just how close they were to cashing in on any number of their products. Bottom line is that they didn`t really cash in on any of them although the company always seemed to be in the mix for the next big tech thing-a-ma-jing. I invested in edig for the patents. I certainly thought 5 and 6 years ago that as gadjets became more multi-functional that edig`s operating system would be the answer. This does not appear to be the case, or does it. I will watch closely and jump back in if edig seriously attempts to enforce it`s patents. Lightening could strike twice. Hopefully the current big product generates enough income for shareholders to make some money. Good luck to all. It has been exciting, educational, frustrating, and hopefully, in the end profitable experience.
