IMO
If e.Digital becomes an IFE vendor...the buyer will be dealing directly with a company responsible for the technology driving the system...one step back from the manufacturing process....
e.Digital will incur minimal in house development fees for their own advancement...with in house personal.
WENCORS IP(if they are following through) will be two steps back from the manufacturing....
They will incur premium development fees for every layer...handled by contract personnel..via TES(Triad).
They`re no further along than if they had bargained with e.Digital.
Of the two...e.Digital will be the more stable..they`re in there realm of expertise with protected in house IP...not having to reproduce new firmware at every step.
If they land the niche in IFE...they`re monetarily ahead...compared to staying with WENCOR....even if WENCOR threw in a few more bucks.
