Very interesting. Does this scenario (i.e., video transfer between mobile phones and portable video devices) relate to your previous speculation of Samsung being our ``large unannounced Asian customer``?

Are cell phones going to be the major portal device for secure digital content for other diverse protable devices, such as laptops, automobile systems, PDAs, and mobile media players? Qualcomm and Texas Instruments ``developing competing wireless chips designed specifically to receive and process video signals more efficiently`` is surely a good sign of the interest in the area. Besides this interesting Ittiam find, is there any evidence that e.Digital has a foothold in this area?

And let`s not forget this possible link:

From this release:

``Samsung’s SPH-V5400 represents an entirely new class of mobile phone technology capable of storing hundreds of MP3 files and thousands of images, as well as downloading video content... The phone also can connect to a PC and serve as a USB drive to upload and download images, videos and music.``

Cornice Partners (including e.Digital) are building the next-generation digital video equipment, PDA, cell phones, medical equipment and more.
