Why does the government no longer tell us how much money they print?

Why do they no longer give us an accounting for the amount of U.S. currency in circulation world wide.

How is it that I can use a credit card anywhere in the world and instantly my account is debited with the correct conversion, but between 30-40% of the time they have to revise the unemployment numbers?

Does the government include people who's benefits have expired but are still not working in the total number of unemployed?

Why are energy and food(if not food something else important, I'm on the road and tired now) costs not included in the cost of living numbers anymore?

I could keep going. These questions are important, because you do not need to look for the answers on sites that are exclusively conspiracy theory sites. They should all be public record, which makes them more valid/valuable information.
