Message: electricity bill will "go through the roof
| Subject: President Obama said that your electricity bill will "go through the roof" when his "Cap and Trade" is enacted. Just a few days ago, we learned that President Obama has started legislation to implement a "Cap and Trade" program to limit carbon dioxide emissions by our industries, automobiles, and everything else that uses carbon based energy. The Administration forecast the program will result in $648 billion "revenue" to the Federal government. President Obama himself stated that our electricity bills will "go through the roof" once the plan is in place. Analysts stated our average electricity bill will go up $1700 per year by 2012.
But Obama's gift of "through the roof" electricity bills is but the "tip of the iceberg" in what "cap and trade" will cost each one of us. Virtually everything we drive, eat, buy, wear, sit on, live in, or drink is produced by, transported by, manufactured by, fertilized by and harvested by carbon based fuels. These industries will be greatly impacted by Obama's "cap and trade" taxation. Thus, if our electricity bills "go through the roof", then so will food, clothes, gasoline, carpet, cars, and virtually everything else we need to buy.
You now know the real reason that liberal politicians and far left activists rather than scientists scream "Climate Change Doom" to scare us into believing we must reduce our "carbon footprint". Thousands of scientists have gone on record denouncing the concept of "man made global warming". They now know that carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere is a "lagging" indicator and not a cause of "global warming".
This must be stopped. If you have not gotten involved, it is time!
