Could you (anyone) tell me, from a legal standpoint, what the purported COLB (which has been offered as 'proof' of citizenship) is valid for as legal proof of citizenship?

Hawaii issues a COLB to anyone that the state has 'seen a copy of the original birth certificate (long form)' without clearly stating what entity issued the original (long form) birth certificate. Whe the state of Hawaii verified 'it had a examined a copy of the original birth certificate', it did NOT state where that certificate it had examined came from. The state to this day still has not clarified this issue by explicitly indicating that the orginal certificate it examined originated in Hawaii or was Hawaiian issued.

Furthermore, other records for Obama that are now sealed by presidential order include ......his kindergarten records, his Punahou school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.

That may very well be intentional on the part of Obama, who used his first full day in residence in the Oval Office to issue an executive order restricting the release of presidential records.

"Upon receipt of a notice of intent to disclose presidential records, the attorney general (directly or through the assistant attorney general for the office of legal counsel) and the counsel to the president shall review as they deem appropriate the records covered by the notice and consult with each other, the archivist, and such other executive agencies as they deem appropriate concerning whether invocation of executive privilege is justified," the order states.

"If either the attorney general or the counsel to the president believes that the circumstances justify invocation of executive privilege, the issue shall be presented to the president by the counsel to the president and the attorney general."

The result is that the president ultimately would decide if those records can be released.

I would really like to hear how someone thinks that if any other qualified President issued an executive order that prohibited an investigation of that individual as the subject would have to get authorization from the person who issued the executive order to be investigated to start with ...well, how long would it take for a sane Congress and media (and electrorate) to immediately call for impeachment?

You want to know where we are headed, IMO?

Just look at Honduras.

Now imagine in a few short months even Pelosi, Reid, Murtha and Franken stand up and take notice that the goverment can't afford anymore spending... call for Obama's impeachment... ...but Obama starts issuing further EO's to grow government more and print more money.... Congress FINALLY wakes up to what the citizens have been saying for months that we can't afford this spending, puts Biden in (a replacement from Obama's own party, like what has happened in Honduras) and Obama is returned (or flees) to Kenya. Soros, Castro and Chavez all call for the immediate re-instatement of Obama (like Chanvez, Castro and Obama call for the re-instatement of Zelaya).

Such a prediction could lead an average kook (or a really prescient individual) to think that the Honduras coup was engineered with Zelaya returning so that "The One" can point to "international precedence" when the same thing occurs here.

The background and relevant facts in Honduras, btw are:

Zelaya wanted to run for a second term, which was prohibited by their constitution;

he called for an election despite the ruling of the supreme court that such an election would be illegal;

he had the ballots printed up (in Venezuala by his leftist buddy Chavez) and had the 'ballots' flown in for the illegal election;

on the 'election day' to allow him to seek a second term, he was arrested by the military on orders from the congress, the congress immediately placed a member of the same political party in charge (the military did NOT 'take over' the country, it was an elected body representing / respecting the constitution that used the country's military to ENFORCE the people's desires) and now leftist leaders from all over the western hemisphere are furious.

So please tell me again, where is the proof Obama is Constitutionally qualified to be President?

With the 'proof' he has shown so far, if he was an eight year old male and submitted the same information, he couldn't even join a little league team.
