Yep, I agree. That was the thought.
- IF, BIG IF, we got the $100M once, the hope of getting it a second time without a mega deal in progress would be the ~$1 pps, best case, all IMO.
- Sometimes you get what you can and get the heck out...and sometimes you analysis your bet on "the come" and hang in there for Promised Land pps numbers. My crystal ball must have had a hang over in early 2000. I'm still "all in." Nobody to blame but me for that one. Fool me once, .... and all that. Even us big dummy's from Tennessee can learn to get out the second time around.
IMO, both are possible speculations (more like musings) with the right conditions. I just doubt Sammy is looking to buy an EDIG type of company. If you look at Sammy, there are a lot of layers, by design, to insulate their founding families in Korea. This I KNOW pretty darn well....as some of those layers connect one not at the hip, but at the hang nail. I have seen many Asian start ups have far better financials while their "seed" money is at work. Big Brother can lend a very helping hand and we see the fruits at the CES Shows these days. You can't miss the impact of Sammy and LG on many of companies exhibiting.
My guess is we will be waiting until a settlement or a positive Markman. I'm still trying to get my arms around the idea that EDIG is going to win against digEcor and be free and clear. I think the pear shaped wonder may have other ideas, but I once hoped he wopuld choke on a pork chop bone, but got over that as well.
Time will tell, but one thing is certain, I have no idea what is going on at the EDIG offices to date in 2009. Maybe that's good, maybe not.
