Agree 100%. I have been stating the same thing for years.

The question is why do the people continue to tolerate these special interest groups with different programs, no term limits, lucrative retirement, riders on bills which should be stopped, and perhaps eliminate lobbying, etc.

These issues should be discussed in depth at election time, get each candidate views and how they would vote on several important topics and continue to monitor there records.

We also need a more objective and analytical news media. They would rather follow an entertainment story than one that impacts the total population.
