What percentage of the electorate really knows what they're voting for? I'm serious on this one.:>)

When I ask O supporters why they voted for him, they have no idea except their father voted D or they think they're going to get something for nothing or they think he's going to "heal" the country. Many just give me a blank stare....because they're too lazy to research the issues.

I truly believe the American electorate is generally ignorant of the issues and will vote for the personality or party...either party. In the last election, it was no contest. McCain has the personality of vegetable lasagna. He could have literally walked on water and still lost. To be truthful, I don't see anyone viable coming along for the Rs.

The Rs need to start advertising alternatives right now and keep it going until Nov of 2010. All I'm hearing from them are attacks on the D's health care plan. Where the heck are the R alternatives. I keep hearing from R spokespersons (is that a word?) that they have a number of alternatives. Where are they? They have to get the message out. I realize they get short shrift from the liberal media but they have to discuss it ad nauseum...even if Fox is the only network that will cover it. They have to spend money in ads...Even NBC will take their money for ads. :>)

It ain't gonna happen by wishing.
