I fell in love with Maine when I spent 2 weeks in Camden right after high school. It's a beautiful place. My wife and I have visted there a number of times....you know Cadillac Mountain ...Thunder Hole....and all that tourist stuff. :>) Didn't someone get killed at Thunder Hole this year? I got nailed with a wall of water myself....never saw it coming. I was standing out on the walkway taking a picture of my wife on shore when I heard the noise....too late...I stayed on my feet but I was soaked.

The last time we were there we took a 3 day trip on the schooner "Victory Chimes" out of Rockland. Do you know that there was a minting of US quarters which featured a theme of each of the states? When we were on that schooner, we were told that ship was in the running as a candidate. Maine ultimately selected that ship to be displayed on their quarters. Find one of those quarters....you'll see.
