This guy loves to cut and paste these sophomoric, condescending lectures on what it is to be an American or what the Constitution means. It's his lazy way of carpet bombing. :>) I'm unimpressed by his references to the clergy. They can and have been wrong on many issues. They are not infallible.
The issue is not whether or not the Muslims have a right to build their mosque near ground zero. The issue is the impropriety of doing so. Long winded essays about the Constitutional authority only garble the debate.
I don't know how old you are but I've lived here for 76 years and know the Constitution backwards and forwards. These turkeys dare to lecture me on what the Constitution means plus invoking the old bromide of calling someone "un-American" is the last refuge of those who have run out of ways to display their own ignorance. They'd rather "make nice" than fight their enemies. Hate is a great motivator for defeating your enemy. Without it we would be speaking German or Japanese.
Incidentally, I didn't read the articles. I'm not that stupid. :>) A glance was sufficient to identify them as typical Leftist pacifistic garbage. :>)
Speaking of hate, I'd hate to rely on this guy to watch my back in a fight.
