Been to Newport on business many times in years past. Nice little towm, wonderful people and a great tourist spot. I used to stay at a place over looking a marina that were apartments converted into a hotel...two story buildings NE of the inland area where the pier is etc...can't recall the name?

Great pizza/beer place near by.
