Before I moved to So. Carolina I lived and worked in Newport, OR right on the ocean. I owned a commercial building at Nye Beach about 20 ft. above sea level--right in the tsumi danger zone. The building was at the Nye Beach turn=a-round.

My home was out by the Yaquina Head Lighthouse on the ocean just to the north a few blocks about 3/4 of a mile. The high ground is sloughing-off into the ocean where I lived. My sister still has a summer home next to where I lived. My friends and family are at risk, so I am concerned. I'll let you know how they fared sometime in the next few days.

Gil lives in Santa Rosa which is also at risk this morning. Lois
